Deep fried  Mushrooms with Spicy Chili-Lime Yogurt


  • 20 button mushrooms or Oyster mushrooms
  • Flour, egg, panko


  • 1 cup plain Greek yogurt 
  • 2 tsp chili powder 
  • ½ tsp Worcestershire sauce 
  • ¼ tsp black pepper 
  • ½ tsp salt 
  • 1 jalapeno, chopped (seeded for less heat) 
  • ½ lime, juiced


  1. Heat up the deep fryer with fresh oil. 
  2. Prepare three plates. One with flour mixed with  a pinch salt, one with beaten eggs and the last one with panko. 
  3. Take a mushroom and go through the flour, the eggs and the panko.
  4.  Deep fry till they are gold brown. 
  5. For the dip, combine all ingredient in a small bowl.
