Strawberry Basil Panna Cotta


  • 300 ml milk
  • 900 ml cream
  • 4 stalks basil
  • 150 g sugar
  • 200g strawberry puree
  • 12 gelatin leaves



Combine milk with cream, sugar and basil in a pot and bring it to boil, take it off the heat, let it rest for 20minutes and stir occasionally. Soften gelatin in cold water for 5mins, squeeze it really hard and add it to the mixture. Add the strawberry puree and sift the panna cotta through a sieve. Fill the panna cotta in a form of your choice and let it chill for 4-6 hours before serving.

Refreshing cucumber gin sorbet. Perfectly for a hot day and definetly worth the effort of making.
